i believe these were provided as a courtesy and not purported to be perfect.

no doubt there are descrepecies between cars, magazines, etc.

having said that, it is nice to have this information in one place for viewing. beats the heck outta diggin through old issues of magazines.

I dont know if I should believe half those times... but I guess not knowing who did it, and where it was done I guess!

"1993 Ford Mustang GT (auto) 8.0 16.1"

My stock auto was considered slow at 15.3. A 16.1 car is laughable!

I agree. The times do not appear to be that far off. You should always assume that the 1/4 miles times have a tolerance of +/- .5 seconds and at least a tenth or two tolerance for 0-60 times. This is true for any advertised acceleration run no matter who the source. Climate differences, altitude, driver, road surface, testing weight, ect ect are all parameters that are to the discretion of the tester. With that much variance you can only assume that those posted times are a good average.

I can believe that more than I can believe a 302 running 16s! At least the guy with the '03 Cobra can say he spun through over half the race.. (not saying a 5.0 couldn't if that was the desired result, but you have to be plain retarded as a magazine test driver to pull off a 16sec run in a 225HP Mustang...that's even slower than the 4.6L SN95s!

6.8 and 15.3 respectively is ridiculous for any L98.

They are good for ROUGH comparison though..
