killed a gt... escort

so i'm new to this board. well i've been looking at the street racing section for weeks, but i never got ym own account i'm not sure why. but anyway i'm spike i'm a 21 year old student from ohio. the car i'm building is a 87 camaro with a 350 bored out with port heads, ported performer intake, headers, magnaflow exhaust, cat deletes, roller rockers, and 600cfm carb. the only down side is i'm still running 273's eww.
but anyway so i was coming home. this is when my car was completely factor and my carb was all messed up. so i'm going home from work and i get to this stop light and all of a sudden i hear a guy rev up beside me. i look over and its some white kid trying to being hardcore rapper. furthermore, he is drving a late 80's escort complete with losts of rust, stickers, and fart cna muffler. i'm like you have to be kidding me. i know my car wasn't that fast then but still. this car is pretty much held together with apc stickers. so the light turns green and i slam on the gas and take up to about 65. the kids is several car lengths behind. i think he might of stalled his car. anyway it was a kill. not a good one for my first post.
i just thought it was funny. some people can make those cars fast. but if you are slow don't try to rev up against a slightly less slow car.

yeah, really! money is money to the guys around here...weather its money to fuel a get away car or a race car, they do not care...as long as them greenbacks are in their hands, they don't care what you do with the stuff you buy!

when I got the motor for my firebird the guy specifically asked me what I was doing with the car and what my plans were. I told him I was basically gonna do a restore eventually and he said good cause i I was going to race it then he wouldn't sell the 350 to me.

I've had quite a few kills just like yours. I live near Hilliard (westside of Columbus) and there are plenty of kids around here that think their slow economy cars and stock family sedans are fast. I am not one of those kids. My car might be slow, but at least it's a Camaro

Yeah I was with some friends down at Easton Townplace on Morse road and everybody on that road wants to race, in the cars that you don't race with against cars you don't race.... it's an odd phenomenon

One day I predict you will get majorly pwned by a Taurus.....lol. Not all family sedans are slow, heck the fastest one I've ever driven was a v8 sst lincoln ls. Trust me, you better have more than a TBI to even compete with those. The SHO is a little slower than that, but add boost or n2o, they become rocket sleds. Anyways, thought I'd say something about that.....lol

Believe me, I know if a certain car is fast or not and I'm smart enough to avoid the fast ones. I have actually beaten an SHO though.
