new l98 times

posted awhile back about what times i could expect with under drives, afpr, air foil, and more timing starting with a stock 51k L98. well, finally got all that done and cut a 14.33 at the strip (fastest stock was 14.72). I think thats good for all being easy bolt ons. now all i want to do is go faster, my second round of mods will include a SLP cold air, and a Random tech after cat exhaust. Think this enough for 13's ?

p.s. also have a converter but it wont go in for a while.

My guess is you'll be around 14.1's with the second round of mods. What would really help is headers to go with your new exhaust and air intake since the headers will just bottle neck them. But once you get the TC, you will most definetly be in the 13s.

Congrats on some good improvements with not that much work.

Congrats, that's a pretty nice improvement for such little effort. Can you feel the difference as well?

fuel pressure was set at 50. and over the 4 runs i made the mph was up 1 to 1.5 mph. and yes i can tell a difference in driving it. its not a killer difference but feels stronger throughout the entire power band. and the timing was set a 10 degrees initial

whats ur 60 foots.. that will tell if you can get 13's or not. you might need headers to get there but it could be possible with a good low 60.

best 60 ft with the new set up was a 2.03, my trap speeds were 95.5 to 96mph (best before was 94.5). going to the track tomarrow to see if i can get some better air (was kinda humid last week after a two week rain storm) and i'm gonna bring some ice to cool the plenum.

Not a bad 60 but if you could shave a tenth off of it you would be amazed. Every tenth you drop in your 60 is 2 tenths off your total ET. Go make a friend who has some slicks you can borrow
