91 Formula 350 vs. 91 Corvette
91 Formula 350 vs. 91 Corvette
coming back from the gym, I spot a steel blue Corvette, coming up on me where there is a merge, I'm doing about 35, I hear them step on it, I'm like
I punch it, my tires light up a little, they got the slight jump, where door to door for about 4 seconds, when I wave
and then merge. We pull up next to each other a few lights down, and I see it's an older chick drivin and say "what happened, your supposed to be faster" She
I ask if that was a 91, the only year they made that color and body style, and she says yes. The light turns green, she fricken stomps on it, takes off,
I stomp, tires just smoke
I doubt I would have taken her from a dig if we both went the same time, because I have no traction even with new tires, but sheesh

Sounds like you ran a C4 L98. The vette should be faster than your car but if you had the head start the outcome seems about right.

Seriously, good run.
that would be true if there both stock, however, see sig, mines not totally stock
and actually she got the jump, trying to pass me
as far as the driver equation?
I really didn't think she was going to stomp on it, but as soon as I saw her take off, I stomped on it, and my tires just spun like crazy! I did catch up to her and pass her, but I couldn't tell if she was on it.

for what its worth a buddy of mine has a 92 6speed manual 110 mph mid 3rd hits it in 2 blocks however would be nice if a camaro could beat one
92 6spd vette? Well I'd like to run into run, and see how I do from a roll. I'm betting I could hang with one, at higher speeds it will leave me. My car feels a little faster than my 94 auto LT1 vette I just had on the street, however I know my Vette was faster on the highway.

They're not a bad tire. They're one of the few affordable 315/35/17 street tires out there. I picked up a set of 2 275/40/17's and 2 315/35/17's for just over $450 shipped from a dealer on eBay.
