85 Trans am vS. 84 Mustang

I just got my car this week and its a 1985 Trans am with a 383 stroker,3.23 posi, th700r4 tranny(i think) a holley 4777-2 4150 series 650cfm double pumper carb, hooker long tubes with a flowmaster cat back system. My friend has an 84 mustang bored .30 over with 3.55 gears and a flowmaster system. who should win if i do choose to race him?

I would hope you would beat him unless he didnt just bore it and throw stock parts back on.

nope the only thing hes got is his 5.0 bored .30 over with the 3.55 gears

Not to be rude but how well can you drive? I'de want to get a little experience in the car before you race it, go out and once you feel confident give him a run and tell us how it turns out.
