now i feel bad

I was driving along side of a guy i know and he has a 2000ish chevy 1500 ext. cab pick up. we stopped at a red light and we both started off slow.i was in front of him a little bit then i hear his engine rev up, so i floored it. he passed me like i was sitting still. i knew those trucks were fast for pick ups but i didnt know they were that fast.

Not to be a **** man but your car isn't really a good comparison; the TBI Camaro's are so weak kneed it's ridiculous. My 4.3 S10 keeps up with most of the stock L03s.

I had the same thing happen to me!!! this thing was lifted, big 32 in tires, with a quad in the bed! I heard the big procharger whine and then he was gone. I just wanted to hang my head in shame. you can cry on m shoulder if you need.

Re: now i feel bad

Oh yea, i did forget to mention i had a 06 chevy stay right at my back bumper from a 20 roll till second gear, third gear pulled away slowly, i was impressed. It was my first race with my new 383 i just built in october/november. He claimed 14.0s in the 1/4 due to no stall, i recently had his friend tel me 13.0s spinning.

I've beat a few f-bods before lol...

The Gen III/IV engines are supreme to yours.

And, sadly for thirdgens, most modded trucks look 100x cleaner then thirdgens I see driving around.

There are some FAST trucks in H-town dude. That's where my tuner is at so I seem to go up there more then I should

But he tunes tons of fast trucks everyday...
