my friend just got the a6, its compltely stock.
my rs is 305 tbi with an intake, exhaust and a 3.73 posi, and a shift kit

he talks way too much **** about chevy and how hondas and audis are the best cars in the world....can i shut him up?

hes also got a 00 prelude which is also stock and says he can also beat me with that

 

What motor does his A6 have?

That 4.2L v8 A6 probably has all wheel drive, and is at least a low 14 sec car.
You have to have serious mods in your 305TBI to run against him. Even a stock 350TPI will have problems with him.

 

u dont stand a chance but think of it this way he probley spent 25,000+ for it (not 2 sure what there worth) and if u spent that much including what u payed for your car u could smoke him

 

Not sure what cost has to do with it, as he is getting a LOT more car for the money. Not to mention my brothers 01 A6 with low miles only cost $12,000 . His is the 2.7T with a 6-speed, and with good driving would rip a LOT of cars apart who would never expect it. I don't understand why people compare costs of cars with speed, not only is his faster, but its more comfy, better gas mileage, roomier, more options, 6 disc changer, heated rear seats, etc...

 

he actually averages about 15mpg, just clarifying that....but comfort, omg yes the audi beats my camaro in that, and probably in reliability too

 

WOW, my A4 averages 23-25 with mixed driving, and my brothers A6 around the same. I guess the 4.2s suck for mileage, and the auto doesn't help.
