Okay, so my car is an 82 Camaro with a 350 from a 1/2 truck, with a performer intake, holley 650, 700r4, and 3.42 posi... His car, I think a 95 Integra with a stock B18 and 5 speed. If traction isn't an issue, what would be likely to happen?

 

His car MAY accelerate quicker out of the gate, but you shoud pull on the topend. Not sure about how those old truck moter heads though. but that would be my best guess.

 

Yea, I know my heads are holding me back quite a bit, I'm lookin at some vortecs at the moment fwiw...

 

If it has Vtec watchout for their near 9000rpm but you should take him if your drive it rite!

 

Yea, it's got Vtaaaaaaaaaaaaaaak... I've got nothin against Honda's or the like, but this kid just talks his stuff up too much.

Could be, I only got a quick glimpse of it at the gas station. He was at the pump and I pulled up right in front of the station. He stopped me on the way out and talked it up, I've known him for a while.

 

if its a stock integra type r thats a high 14 second car, not shabby for a naturaly aspirated 4 banger....truck motors arnt good up mid to high, if u dont spin ull jump him and pull first i think but when he hits his powerband hell come back on ya, just dont talk to much smack cause it will probably be pretty close race.....im not gonna name my pic just get back to us with the info on who wins and good luck...

 

I got ya, I dunno when this is gonna go down, hopefully the next time I see him, not really worried about losing, I just wanna see what the car's got... Maybe by then I'll have my vortecs.
