What do you guys think my camaro will Do in the 1/8th Mile????

Ok here we go...

89 Camaro RS
305 TBI
B&M shift improver kit
2.73s open
Open element
1 5/8 shorty headers
2.25in duals dumpin before rear axle, no cats or mufflers.
A/C iss all gone , no evaporator, no lines, no drier, only condensor and compressor.
6 degree advanced timing
Tourque converter lockup switch
Smog pump and all Air is gone
No spare tire or jack.
No excess weight in car but me and I weigh 200lbs.
brand new 215/65 R15s

I am thinking 9.8 -9.7.

i think you could hit the 9.8 range. maybe not the 9.7's, but who knows. your biggest problem is going to be trying to get traction on those 215's with that one wheel wonder.

for comparison, the best ive mustered is a 10.1x with the mods in my sig minus the pulleys and limited slip with 3.42 gears (used to have the open 2.73 like you).

Ran lastr friday, ran a 10.122 @ 70 mph with a reaction time of .5, Spinning all the way through first gear. I got a AFPR now and a good tune. I am expecting high nines this time, hopefully I can hook up. Need 255s for the back..

Ran 10.007 last week, swapping to 355 built 12:1 comp. Will post time on this motor later
