'77 Chevelle Malibu

My brother has a 1977 Chevelle Malibu, stock (305 I think), with weight reduction by letting rust eat through it. My car's stock 305. Do I have any reason to fear a race with him? I know my engine's nothing much to brag about, but he drives a tank.

Re: '77 Chevelle Malibu

Did they make a 77? Or did they jump to 78...either way the 78/79 ect 305's were 140hp.....i think your probably ok.

Re: '77 Chevelle Malibu

There was a 77 Chevelle, and it was still a fullsize, not the midsize like 78. You'll beat him since you weigh less and have more power
