G35?

My step brother is in Afghanistan right now, but when he gets back he wants to run our cars. Where do I stand against a bone stock G35 except for a cat-back.

Re: G35?

Auto or 6MT?? Either way its a heavy car. The auto I believe has 290 reported, 310 reported for the 6spd (thereabouts). Redlines at 7k. I don't have any times for you I'm afraid. It grabs asphalt very well from a standstill I'll give it that.
I believe you'll be fine. Doesn't pull like a good modded 8

Ay, thanks for the reply. Totally forgot to put specifics. Its a 6 speed, but he's not the greatest at it. Do you know the exact weight?

Re: G35?

If that is your car's dyno chart in your first post, you will crush a G35. Your biggest challenge will be traction. With traction, your car should easily run a quarter mile in the mid 12 second range which should be a good second or so faster than a G35.

3,524#. We have an '04. Get the power in your dyno to the road and you'll have family bragging rights at the dinner table for a while. Remind him how old our cars are too.

Re: G35?

watching hot import night, chicks are hot *drool* anyways they have a g35 on their pushing 709 hp and he was on the dyno like 5 seconds before he blew a radiator line. 709 hp owned by Hahn, crazy.

Yes it is. I have yet to take it to the track, but I want to, sometime soon so I can put a timeslip right next to my dyno sheet

Re: G35?

This past summer i had seen a twin turbo 350Z run in the low 10's at Englishtown. God knows what was done to make it run that fast and stay together, but it was fast...

Re: G35?

Don't focus too much on your launch, as in....Don't try to LAUNCH.

Let him have the first 60 foot, if you blow your tires off, it'll just be more work getting traction again.....catch him & run him down.....
