My 90 RS vs.....
So this weekend me and a couple buddies are going to race at the local dragstrip for fun. And I'll be racing a '02 mustang V6, possibly a 98 eclipse V6 and i think thats it. My camaro is is bone stock as are there cars except I have a 2.5" flowmaster, also my camaro is a V8 LO3, do think im going to stomp them or is there still a possibility I could lose? What do you guys think?
P.S. this is also the first time any of us will be racing if that has anything to do with anything...

I wouldnt expect too much out of your 305.The stang and ecilpse are both around 210 hp with the v6 IIRC.

i think i gotta go with the others, sorry. maybe some cheap or free mods will improve your chances. i would think a cheap $30 cutout would help quite an lot. also some temp. weight reductions would help to. good luck

I'd be more worried about the stang instead of the eclipse. if you get the eclipse off the line it should be a close one as for the stang thats iffy there, those 3.8's are some what quick.

The LO3 isn't exactly powerful. I'd expect to lose to both the Eclipse and the Mustang if I were you.

I'd be more worried about the Eclipse. If he went through all that trouble to throw a V6 into a car that never had one and all.

True.Forgot about that.i think the best performing eclipse of those years was 210 hp with I4 turbo or something. At any rate hes got his work cut out for him.A non turbo eclipse 4 banger,he may get the W.

Re: My 90 RS vs.....
Sorry its been a while I've been playin with the camaro,...XD, but I went down sat. and i think I did ok my best time was a 16.63 at 83mph on street tires all stock but a 2.5" Flowmaster, and my 0-60 was in the mid 9secs. So all in all I think I did ok. My friends didnt show up they both had problems (hospital, grounded[lol]) but it was still fun. Do you think thats about a normal run dor my 100xxx mile throttle body engine?
P.S. I'm using my friends slicks next time I go so mabye I can get a high to mid 15, we'll see.
P.S.S. I love US41
