What was your first kill in your third gen, or the first car that you lost to


I killed an acura TLs.
later the same day i got killed buy an evo.

 

First kill in my 84 Z28 was the first day I bought it. Ran a buddy's 911 and beat it. Needless to say, he was surprised.

Very first kill ever was in my brand new 84 Chevette. Another bud had a MGB and I ended up beating it. Chirping on the 2nd gear shift It was pretty funny as my Chevette was a high 19@65mph 1/4 mile monster.

 

I once killed this guy in arizona just to watch him die..

Why a 5.0 foxbody Mustang GT, ofcourse...

 

The first couple days I had the car in 08, and my license for that matter, I raced a red 5.0 Fox Mustang and lost, because I was ****ing around shifting manually. A couple weeks later after I figured out how to drive, I RAPED a 305 RS camaro. That was the first car I ever beat I think. No one ever tries to race me here in Vegas though, only once have I raced anyone here, and that was a non ram air 98 LS1 Trans Am. I actually beat him, and that was the only time I put the pedal down as far as it would go up to about 70 MPH.

 

Some guy with a burnt orange 2003-04 dodge neon srt thought his turbo was bad. Needless to say it wasnt that fast.

 

first time i got my thirdgen...5.0 tpi..

killed a 96 mercury couger V8 and a 95 honda civic 4 banger...

then bout two weeks later when i took it out again..i lost to a mustang GT 2002 i think....

My first kill was in my 97 rs. I was leaving school and my friend in his 2006 v6 accord 2dr drove by, gunning the thing. I downshifted and just destroyed his honda piece o junk. That was my first kill ever. My first kill in my 92rs was a 96 rs that was riced out with a carbon fiber ws6 hood, altezza tails, and the exhaust tip that makes it sound turboed. Let's just say the moron learned that even though my v8 is old and small, it still destroyes the 4th gens 3.8

 

very first kill was an early 80's El Camino with a wore out 305 with my 89 2.8l RS. very first kill with a v8 powered camaro was mid 90's DelSol. that was the very first night i ever took my infamous 305 out.

 

The first real kill was an 73 El camino. I raced him during lunch down the side of my high school. He turned off after about 600 ft.

 

Ah first kill with my Camaro was last summer. I was taking it back from my mothers garage when I came home from vacation. There was a younger kid on a one lane on each side street zig zagging back and forth between the yellow lines it looked like he was driving behind a friend. Well I came up to the light were the street opens up from one lane to 2 on one side if you guys can picture that. He was driving a 2006 wrx, w/exhaust/Lowered/badge-less/wheels tires ect.. I wasnt thinking anything of it but them I kept hearing him revving his uniquely sounding wrx. I looked back and I see him smiling so when the light turned green we both turned the corner and hit it. I ate him off the 10mph roll and kept pulling on him only thing I could here was his BOV sounding at every gear until I hit around 75mph when I let of and so did he. I saw him make a U-turn in my rear view and drive off in the opposite direction. At that point I didnt have my car on the dyno yet and wasn't sure on the HP output so I was pretty happy I just took out an AWD wrx with 230hp and bolt on's.

 

First memorable one was racing the local king of the street testing out his buddy's car. 68 Camaro with a 400 in it with aluminum heads vs my car which was only running 13.20's at the time. Got a rolling start on the main drag and I pulled 6 cars on him by the time I let off. He hurt the engine trying to keep up with me so he fixed it all up for the guy. I had a grin on my face for a week after that.

 

My first memorable kill was back in 2001. I'd just had an aluminum headed L98 dropped into my 87 GTA and I was out cruising the town with my then girlfriend now wife. A brand new Mustang came up beside me with temp tags on it and started revving and dropping the clutch spinning tires at me. I popped it in neutral and gave him a few revs back and then he took off. I looked at my wife and she said "Go get the mother****er!".
I then revved to about 4 grand and dropped it in gear and spun tire and took after him.
I ended up next to him at the next 3 red lights in a row and completely killed him at all three lights. When we got to the 4th light he was behind me screaming at me out of his window asking me what I had in it. I quickly answered back "a 350 out of a vette" and he said "DAMN, that thing is fast!". I being a smartass kid at the time replied back "next time have your daddy buy you a cobra" and took off lol.

 

my first kill, i had a 89 rs 5 speed. me and my brother built a 350 and put in it. well at the local cruzin spot this 18ish boy was talking smack about how fast his car is to these girls with him. he had a 89 rs also. so he sees me and my car in the parking lot as he was going to go cruze and he stops and says "whats that pos got in it" so i looked at my brother and smiled and told the boy its a 305. needless to say when we raced he found out real fast it wasn't a 305. and later that night i also beat a 05 or so mustang cobra with 4 people in my car.

 

I remember it like it was yesterday lol. my very first kill was a fixd up honda 2000! hte dude pulled up and reved. i put mine in neutral at the stop and REVDDD!!!! back. haha. then the ligt went green and inot only monstered my way in front of him but i beat him off the line. he never even kept up. i hit 50mph and he slowed down when he shifted. rookie driver i guess haha. i was happy though.

 

There are only a couple of kills worth remembering.
The first one was in my 86 Trans Am 305 LG4 5 speed vs my friends 87 Corvette Convertible with a 4+3 trans.
Out ran him from 0-130mph. I was just as surprised as he was, since I was expecting to lose. My car was only a high 14 second car at the time.

 

My first kill in the camaro was a about 99 ford f150 with the 4.6 in it.... but my first real kill I feel was a fox body mustang. It was primered up and was revving the snot out of it in front of me. It was a v8 for sure, the light turned green and he launched it but I was right up his rear end, I even had to hit the brakes to keep from hitting him lol. He turned off real quick after he realized he wasn't as peppy as initially thought.

 

It was a 69 Chevelle with my '74 Mustang Ghia with a 302 two barrel. He came back to see what it had and was PO'd big time when his buddy was laughing at him. He had a lot more motor but my car weighed less than 2000 pounds.

 

Haven't had the GTA too long so I've only had one race so far.
Lost to my buddies 1991 Corvette. Beat him off the line because he was having trouble getting traction, but he eventually pulled passed me after 40mph.
Not bad considering he had the advantage of a larger engine displacement.

But I had my revenge. When we stopped at the gas station, the corvette stalled out. lol

 

hmmm......some kid at school had a vw jetta tdi and wanted to run. ran him from 20-110.....i smoked his a$$

the first stoplight race i have gotten into with the gta was with a lexus suv (not exactly sure which as i never saw the back)
this little azn girl kept staring. she yelled WANNA RACE!!!!???? all i yelled back was IT NEEDS WORK light went green and she never had a chance. she even chirpped in second as i left her behind......at the next light she started talking ****.....i just laughed and asked how much their car was....the guy driving replied 45k i just said that sucks mine was 1500. and left him in smoke.

 

in the 2 weeks with the 2.8 86, 3-0 so far, first kill was a v6 mustang (02 i think), second was a crappy Honda vtec and latest, today a dodge neon. ironically all were green with black wheels.

I'd be too afraid of getting smoked by pretty much every car on the road.

 

i used to race my 2.8... used to beat this other 2.8 all the time. he always asked my friends what i did to it, which was nothing but regular maintenance.

my friend had a 67 Chevelle with a 2 barrel 350. he would get a length and a half off the line, but after that, there was no gain or loss. we were driving down the road one day, and i punched it first, getting ahead of him. we stayed with him at my rear quarter all the way past where all us car guys hung out. he was so embarassed, lol.

first kill with the LT1 was a G8.

 

Years ago when my 91 was still stock I'd go to "test and tune" night at the track with a bunch of buddies and really we would only run each other, but there was some chick there one night in a manual trans honda beating anybody in the oppisite lane just because she was pretty good off the line. Well I wasn't even interested in running her cause I knew there was no competition in it for me. Before I knew it one of my buddies was over at her car motioning for me to move to the stagging lane and so I did. Just as I suspected, blowed her doors off. After I parked she rolled past me yelling out her window, "what's in that thing?" and my responce of course was "a 350". She just rolled her eyes and said "no wonder you won". I just laughed and had continued having fun. Later that night the closest competition was a 2nd gen firebird with a 400cid/400trans. Still got em on top end.

 

not that brave when there isnt much but civics, neons, golfs, and jettas around here willing to race.
off topic but i have a new reason to hate fords and ford drivers, rear ended today by a probe and chances are that the insurance company will total the camaro i plan on buying it back but the whole back half of the body is tweeked, drivers side door doesnt hang right at all, brakes all sort of screwed up and hatch wont open with yanking the heck out of it, will keep everyone updated

About six months after I bought my 3rd gen a young kid in a 94-00 body style Integra GSR kept lining up with me as we were rolling down a main street at about 2 in the morning. I was not having any of it, but as we were rolling he fell back a little and then gunned it passed me real close to my passenger door. I imediately mashed on my pedal, caught up and broke away from him quick and by far. At the next light he asked the same stupid question as always, "Hey what do you have in it" I just replied " A V8". He just smirked and drove on. I have to admit I thought I would not take him out. The car was pretty new to me and it is only a 305.

 

2 days after i got my 89 RS (305, 700r4) this kid in my home town rolled up next to me in a brand new (08) civic si 4 door that had no hood on it and the bumper was held on by deck screws (come to find out my buddy knew the kid and the car only had like 4500 miles on it.... go figure) at the time my car had no exhaust after the cat so it was fairly loud. he started revving at me, so i dropped it in neutral looked over at him smiled and stood on it. needless to say he got kind of a pissed off look on his face and kept on revving. well the light turned green and i let him have about 1 car on me and i punched it. blew by him at about 40 and kept hammerin on it till about 75. every sence then he always follows me when he sees me....

 

My 1st kill was the rear tires

My first kill (off the track) was a fox body. I was macho 17 year old with some chick I had just met literally for the first time in the passenger seat. Fox rolled up next to me and asked what I had, just replied a "5.0" (which was truthful, it was a cammed 5.0 with 58cc heads and a little 100 shot). First race he spanked me, next race the bottle was at a descent enough PSI so I reraced him... BYE BYE piston rings It smoked like a SOB and by the time I got home it was outta oil

 

2nd day I had my ride I was stalked by a 07 Mustang GT & I guess his intent was to make fun of my car (it being older and stuff) but no, I raced him on the highway & my car took care of that Mustang.

 

My first kill ever was a Dodge Neon R/T in my 2000 Ford Contour SE POS car.
Poor kid kept talking big about his Neon at work and always wanted to race so I said fine after work at the light meet me and will go. After beating him by 5 cars he gave up and bought another car. His problem was he didn't know the first thing about cars and his "Tuning" was always on the edge of dangerous to health side. Always ran to rich and later on in life he got a 240sx and put wood blocks in fix the springs. Any time he turned the whole car body swung away from the frame. He thought he was "Drifting".

 

i really dont know what to say to that....some people dont belong behind the wheel at all, much less under the hood!!!!

 

first kill, mustang v6 (2002 i think?) it was me an my buddy from school. he really thought he would beat me so we raced an i beat him by about 4-5 cars by the time we hit 100. we ran outta road after that an we like living so we slowed down, (not like my car had much left in her anyway, its a 305 with a 5speed.) first loss was a twin turbo stealth, another friend of mine an when he first got it i could usually beat him untill about 85-90 because he was still learning how to drive stick. hahaha but once he got the hang of it that was the end of that....

 

My first kill in my 97 RS was mercedes benz as I was on my way to school. My first kill in my first third gen *84 berlinetta 305* was a 4.6 mustang gt if I remember correctly, now my 89 kills the pavement its been parked on for 3 months now..but soon..she will run..and we will be what the black plague was to the middle ages to the streets of southern most Texas...sorry got on a power trip there.

my 92 RS was peppy but to slow to beat anything fast, I cant recall even racing anyone.

The first fast car I ever beat was a '84 cutlass with a cammed 400 sbc, in my stock 96z.

 

thats always good. and i raced a fox body yesterday and pulled on him multiple times. his excuse was that it only has 4 cyclinders which i could believe but didnt want to. i felt like i was picking on a special kid after i found that out.

just finished my 86iroc z this past october and the first thing i hooked up with was a 2010 camaro the youngster in his 30 thousand plus hot rod was not to happy with the end result and wanted me to run his buddies mustang with a as he put it stroker and nitrous built ,my second kill was his buddies,never understood why youngsters just dont want to believe it when some old guy KICKS that ***,we are out here beware street racing was where we started its our playground. jplp

 

Can I count myself as my first kill?

Two weeks after I picked up my GTA I flew off the road at just above 100 in the middle of the night. Took out 3 tires and 2 wheels and im still finding things that have been messed up to this day. And that was 5 years ago. But hey I was 20, and I was just lucky to be alive.

You youngsters should learn from my mistake. Don't mess around on public roads you've never driven before, especially late at night and especially over 100mph.

1st kill - 88-89 LX 5.0 back in 89 from a dig. I'm sure he didn't know WTF happened as the TTA wasn't very well known back then

Funnest - modded 01-03 BMW M coupe - killed 7 times from a dig and various rolls - I guess he was waiting for the bottle to run dry

 

I think I lost to everything on the street when my 86 TA had the stock 305 TPI in it....even an early 90's grand am!

My brother though had a priceless kill in his 92 RS with a bolt on 350 TBI/5 speed swap. There was this local kid with a 2 door 05ish honda accord V6 who had previously beaten my trans am. His car had bolt ons, two tone paint, rims, and it was a stick (nice looking car actually). He saw my brother one day so he approached him and asked what motor my brother had. Apparently he didn't know what a V8 sounded like because he believed my brother when he told him it was a 6 cyl. The kid wanted to run so they went to a back road and lined up. After 3rd gear my brother's RS had about 7 cars on the kid (no lie lol) and he gave up. He cruised back up to my brother and said "thats not really a V6 is it?" And my brother replied "nope," and took off. Nice to see that the kid wont underestimate ALL third gens now!
