Draggin @&& on the street

Well, the mustang is a 2V with a 100 shot of nitrous from a couple digs, the SS is a 383 stroked LS1 with AFR heads. Whooped up pretty good tonight for a junkyard truck motor with cam only:

Good times. Thanks to the Mexican streets for being so level.

Wait... So the 2v only have a 10 shot? or 100 shot? and you barely chased him in the 3rd video but the 01 SS is a 383 with AFR heads and he got walked in the 3rd vid? Theoretically both you and that SS should have walked that stang.. unless he had more mods than you stated or both your cars aren't really that fast. What gives?

Re: Draggin @&& on the street

I agree, a 10 shot would be worthless but that would still make the Stang only at around maybe 350 fwhp at best... That's what I don't understand..... That would be like low 13's, maybe high 12's.

Re: Draggin @&& on the street

Yea, the stang is a built, cammed 2V with PI heads, 100 wet kit. The SS and I ran from a roll because you can see in the 3 way run from a light, he cannot hook, at all. So, on the 3rd honk roll we are side by side till the mighty top end junkyard 6.0 keeps singing, LOL.

The stang traps 91 in the 1/8th on motor he said, i trap 97 on motor, but have yet to spray mine. The 150 shot will probably go on soon.

I am very pleased with my cars performance for what it is, but i do have a weight advantage over the SS, but you gotta do what you can, LOL.

Just looking forward to the head swap!

What about the 1/4 mile? I'm not a big fan of 1/8 mile runs.

You should take a vid of your car at the 1/8th. It will be cool to watch. Sounds like that thing really rips.
