91 Trans Am vs built 98 regal GS & subaru STI **VIDS**

My brother ran a few cars over the weekend in his 91 TA. First was an STI we ran into on the highway. Started in 3rd gear at around 60 mph. We were hoping to get some runs in with his new 4.10's and they def seemed like they helped a lot. Not sure of mods on the STI since we didn't talk to the kid but it was most likely bolt ons/tune judging by how quick it was.

Next we ran a freind of ours who has a FAST 98 buick regal GS. These came with the supercharged GTP engine and his has an upgraded blower, pulley, cam, and bolt ons. He dyno'd around 320 WHP with it and I believe he traps around 108 in the 1/4.

That TA is sick, looks like those gears really helped it stay in its power band.

Yea def...we took it for a spin right after the gears and it was like a night and day difference. High RPM motor + T56 + 3.55's was a crappy combo. It's cool to see an N/A SBC still come out swinging with all the modern cars even though I do prefer the LSx motors myself.
