going to try to get to the track this weekend just wondering what i should expect my car is 89 formula l98 runs strong mods are stock ported base, runners and plenum along with UD pulleys air foil and cai with AFPR set at 48 lbs and stock timming for now thanks.

 

traction will be the biggest factor. I'll guess anywhere from 14.5 to 16.5

 

14.30 if you hook up and have a 3.23 gear. 14.6 if you dont hook up and/or have a 2.70something gear. good luck and have fun regardless of time! and remember the cars are never as fast as you'd like them to be!

 

low 14's should be doable if ok traction, but with decent street tires and stock converter, it should hook up ok. If not roll into the throttle abit more.
Try stock timing and get a feel for the launch, then try adding 2 more deg to the base timing and see what happens. It should/may pick up

 

Low 14s with good track prep and a good launch.

L98s come out of the hole pretty quick! Have fun man. Oh, and depending on the DA you might not run as good as normal with a lower DA.

 

High 14's on street tires, low 14's on Drag radials or better....

go run it and find out what it does. Nitrous will get you into 13's
