I hav a 91z with the 5.0 TPI and a auto 4. I know it has flowmaster exhaust (single cat). 3.73 gears. MSD ignition. K&N air filters. And I think it has a shift kit.(I can break the tires loose shifting into second) I also have a super chip but I have to run 92 octane gas so it is out. How much HP does my car have and what can I beat. Also what do you guys think I could run in the 1/8th or 1/4. Thanks ahead of time.

 

U have 205HP and 285TQ stock, with your mods I'd say u would run high 14's.

Actually, i think the 91 LB9 made 230HP and 300TQ (casue they finally got rid of peanut cam on A4's). As fro who you can beat: Most imports including Preludes and the likes, V-6 4th-Gen F-Bodies, and I think you might be able to beat another automatic 5.0 Mustang, not sure though.

Your car is pretty powerful. I have an 86 LB9 (185HP, 285TQ) and I can smoke everybody in my lot except for a 01 Stang 5-spd, and a worked over Del-Sol.

No, the 91 305 TPI LB9 with an automatic transmission is rated at 205 HP and 285 TQ like was mentioned by IROCZTWENTYGR8. The 305 TPI LB9 with a 5-speed and dual cats is 230 HP and 300 TQ. The single cat exhaust sucks, which is part of the reason for the lower rating. But yes both 91 LB9's have the good cam, not the peanut cam.

what do you think my '88 LB9 auto pulls? with my mods now i mean i noticed a great pick up in power after these suckers got in. 2nd and 3rd gears pull a lot harder now... but. how much crank & rwhp do you think i can pull? and how 'bout 1/4 mile time? thanks!
