Another Victory for the L03 :)

I was on the way to pick up my Girlfriend last night at 11:30 from work, and this neon tried to beat me to a light to get ahead of me. She gave me an evil look when I wouldn't let her, so I decided to take off a little harder than normal at the light, to rub it in.

The light went green and I applied about 3/4 throttle for a second then eased off, only to hear & see a 4th gen firebird V-6 M5 (I think it was a 3.4l)taking off in the far right lane. He jumped about 1 1/2 car lengths on me when I put the hammer down, But when I let off at 70, I was about half a car length ahead. It seemed as if my engine really took it's time to rev up, as it basically stayed in 2nd most of the time. Makes me wish I had the T56, as I would have personally gone back to first gear to start.

Also beat a nissan 240sx M5 with apparent exhaust mods earlier that day.

Had another "race" today at lunch. I am running open manifolds right now till I get my subframe connectors put on, and this rice boy took off, and I took off after him. I go to pass him, and he cut me off! twice! I finally let off, figuring the idiot isn't worth my car, and he put on his emergency lights like he's hot ****. I am baffled by the apathy, or stupidity he displayed towards a potential wreck at 70 mph.
