You sure? This engine has 225 horsepower stock. Seems like those mods would give more than +50.

ya know i'd say mid 300s at the most, i think you should also upgrade to a 3.73 posi with all that power you'd notice a difference. Just a thought, what else do you guys think his hp is?

i see 50-75 hp in those mods, but thats just me. i am not saying dead on 275, i am saying high 200's. i was more saying at least 275. i wasnt trying to be a jerk, i guess i didnt explain myself well. a lotta people on these boards get jealous of other people and rate your combos really low, so dont get discouraged. i have put engines on here with 11.5:1 compression, dual exhaust with headers, 350, vortec heads, the list goes on. and someone told me no more than 300 horsepower. sounds like a mean engine combo you have though.

Oh its cool man, I appreciate any input. I guess I should say rwhp or something next time

What kind of 1/4 mile times would I see with drag radials?

You got a real nice setup there .

The cam you say it is a LT4 cam but do you mean the LT4 HOT CAM??

If so then your setup is a bit like mine since I have the ZZ9 cam which is simular to the Hot Cam.
Any way I have 2.77 gears and run with a stock intake and have gotten to a 13.8 @ 99.0 mph.
I calculated my Hp at 270 rwhp,
So your rwhp should be more like 300 - 310 if you have the LT4 Hot Cam. As for the times I'd say 13.5's if you connect good , say 2.1 or lower 60' times.

If you don't have the LT4 Hot Cam I agree with the others at 270 rwhp and a time simular to mine maybe a tenth faster!

89 IROC 350 Auto
MSD 6AL
Custom DUAL Exhaust
Edelbrock Performer 6085 Aluminum Heads
ZZ9 Cam
TPIS Level 5 Chip
And Free mods.
(stock intake, runners and suspension)

13.879 @ 98.90 mph (with 2.77 gears!)

with a high torque motor like that youre going to need more that just drag radials to hook. Trust me, I have them and I wish Id have just bought all out slicks because My 60ft's rarely go below 2.0 due to me having to baby it out of the hole.

------------------
91 RS W/carbed 350, Vortec heads, performer rpm, Comp cams Xtreme energy 224/230 duration and .477/.480 lift. BFG Drag radials. 3.42 posi,Corvette servoed 700r4, 3000rpm stall converter. Edelbrock TES, 3inch cat, flowmaster with single 2.5 inch exit.
Best time yet to come
