Wannabe Mustang

Me and some friends were sitting at a light and a 97ish GT Mustang pulled up next to us. We being in a 91 Dodge Dynasty, he tried showing off by sitting at the light with the engine reving. He had some loud exhaust, but it was probly stock. Anyway, he is sitting there and revs his engine up. So, my friend revs his. He gives it one final rev. Which was way too high, so when he tried to take off when the light turned green, it backfired, jumped, and almost died. He finaly peeled out and was gone. We were laughing so hard that he was showing off and then that happened. It would have been better if he had killed it. I guess you shouldn't show off until you learn the limitations of reving your engine. I like to redline my car, then put it in first. It makes me feel powerful. I guess he should just go back to Wendy's. To all the ****y Mustang owners: Calm down and realize you are not #1!
