The info I have is slightly off base and scanty but I hope it will help anyway:
An 84 vette hits 60 in 6.8, with 136 top speed, 205 hp and 290 lbs/ft of torque. I know you asked for 85, but that's all I have.

I am pretty sure the TPI bagan on the Vettes with the new body style (C4's) It was either 83 or 84. 85 definetely has TPI and I believe they were rated in the vicinity of 240-250 HP 325-340 lb ft. This is speculation but I would guess 0-60 around 5.8 and low-mid 14 second 1/4 miles.

Hey girl, It sounds like you have a pretty stout 305 if you are kicking out those HP #'s. Did you dyno that yourself, or are you guessing based on your SOTP dyno?

Do you have bosch +4 plugs and synthetic oil?

Are you Monkie's girlfriend?

Fellas, this topic has already been discussed several times. She realized that her car doesn't have 305 horsepower. We let her know it was the displacement of her motor. After 50 posts or so, and lots of explaining, she finally ran off...she isn't coming back for a long time. So basically, this post was made before she re-did her signiture. It's being beat to death.

I think they actually deleted that whole post because it got too out of hand....I just tried to get a link so you guys could see. Oh well.

Later.

alright, tuned port injection was introduced into the corvette in 1985. 85 was a pretty good year for the vette because it was available with an upgraded suspension package and special wheels designed for handling. You can tell if the vette has this package because it will have a stock spoiler on the back and 5 star 16 inch rims that look like truck rims. I think the vette will easily take your 305, corvette's were rated around the same hp as thirdgens, but the gearing was better.

So you jerks have managed to bully someone and get them to leave? So she made a mistake about her car- big deal. In the wake of the horrible things that have happened tp this country, we should be getting along without some candyasses bitching about a mistake that someone made. It obviously embarrassed her, isn't that good enuf for you people? I think that we are doing well just keeping our minds off of what has happened- and being able to talk about such meaningless things by comparison- like our cars, without trying to inflict any kind of pain, no matter how small on some else. Wake up, even tho you should be wide awake by now.

No one bullied anyone into leaving. Certain people said some things that I personally wouldn't have said, but nothing too horrible. Certainly nothing any worse than what I've seen on any other message board. If you'd like to check out some of her older posts to see for yourself, by all means, have a look (I think the post's title was something about a 92 Firebird vs. a Lumina Z34...or SOMETHING like that). You will find that the flames were shooting in BOTH directions.

As far as bringing up New York City and Washinton D.C. goes, this all happened before the horrible tragedy occurred.
