Please don't take this the wrong way, but lately some people have been complainning of long race stories. But which would you prefer reading one with some details or this one. Every race has a winner and loser which this story describes, but it's the long ones with details that make it interesting.
Again, please don't take this a negative remark towards yourself.
Oh and by the way, in case you might not have known you can set yourself a signature, where you can list your mods that will appear at the bottom of your posts, instead of having people go to reader's rides. And good kill by the way.

we started out playing in traffic. when we actually got to the point of the race my adreniline was pumping. I knew it was going to be a close race "my leg was shaking just over the gas pedal." light went green and we both lit up pretty good "squeeell". had him through fist caught second /manually shifting auto, arond 4200 rpm he started to get beside me went to drive and gained what appeared to be 2.5 car lenghts. when we got to the next light he inquired about the car.
i told him what I'VE done to the car.he was visibly angry and turned right when the light turned green rather than race me again.
WHAT A RUSH

LOL, I always feel like I'm about to have a heart attack or something when a good race is imminent. Foot doesn't stop shaking afterwards for a couple minutes, lol...

LOL, elevario I feel your pain. I have a 2.8l berlinetta and I've lost to so many cars its pathetic. Last time that happened to me was when a riced up mercury sable pulled up to the light beside me and gave me the look. Anyone ever lose to a 4-door family car?
Whenever i'm about to race I got this habit of turning off my stereo and air conditioning so I can hear better.

Add me to this list. I've been street/track racing since '82 and it happens almost everytime. I never told anyone cause I thought there was something wrong with me.

By reading this post I see that I am not the only one with the shaking leg . It's like you go a long time without finding anyone worth racing and when you do you just know it! Heart beats faster and leg starts shaking

Turning down the music? For sure! It's like a movie, sometimes for me, where every element has to be right....I do get a bit shakey, but usually find following a good race my race gets flushed/hot...lol....that's me, anyways.
