i'm coming home after a game one night, i'm driving my moms 97 v6 plymouth voyager (i think my camaro was at the shop getting the exhaust fixed). some jerk in a new saturn sc kept flashing his high beams at me, for quite a while. then i see him pull into the opposing lane to try and pass me. i floored it, and he kept trying, but he couldn't catch up to me. i came up on some traffic, so i slowed down. he then proceeded to pass the 3 cars in front of me.

Under any other circumstances I would've laughed in your face....but this is pretty funny. Racing slow cars can be fun; trust me...I know!

Once me and my friends had a slow motion drag race. It was a 99 elantra vs 98 civic vs 93 grand am. All cars had autos and were 4 doors. The elantra kicked all @ss!!!
Tons of fun!!

don't be poken at the saturns. They may be slow but I can still take the Hondas with an exhaust in my moms SL saturn. I has a five speed and it will chirp the front tires in the first three gears.

That's because the tires are too little and don't have enough rubber to grip properly. You should also stop shifting at 7000 rpm, because your mom won't like it when her tranny goes.

i think these dodge (mitubishi) people might have been up to something. we have a 91 dodge caravan with the mitsubishi 3 liter v6. and for a minivan, it is damn quick. i've had this van up to 95, and i've had plenty of pedal left. i am by no means advocating a front drive chrysler product, but i think it's quite impressive for a front driver.

Nice kill! Sounds like a real dip**** to me...

I used to race my friends Mustang GT back when I had the '90 Civic Wagon... needless to say he won... it wasn't flat out drag racing though, it was more of "I'll take my path you take yours and we'll see who wins".

I think that almost any car can chirp second... It sounds much cooler though in my 'bird than in my mom's '99 Civic Hatchback.

Just curious how many trannies that thing's gone through. My mom had a 91 Acclaim with the v6, and when we sold it 2 months ago, it was on its 4th or 5th tranny.
I'll admit it had kick. Both me and my sis know from experience it could easily hit 100.

Personally I wouldnt be caught dead in either of those cars. But when my car needs fixed I usually take my dads Tacoma or my moms dodge shadow. I hate them they are nothing compared to my car. But i play with people on the highway like that when I try to pass them in the other lane they speed up and so do I and i kill their stupid ***

I was driving my moms 94 dodge ram PU with a 3.9L V6, and another dodge just like it (V6 auto too) pulled up at a light and revved. My moms truck is bone stock except for dual exhaust and chrome tips. Anyways I power braked it and loaded the converter (If the patetic V6 could load it), and the light turned green and off we were. well, i pulled him off the line, and after that it was even. the damn thing was doing like 5000 rpm and I was winning, then I look at the speedo and im going 40mph... I swear its the slowest production vehicle ever. :P

the van just turned 190,000 miles, and had the transmission replaced at 120,000. this van was meticulously maintained. it surprised me that the original tranny lasted that long!

nonethless, the van hauls ***
