Dude, haven't you ever seen the movie "The Wraith", with Charlie Sheen? The car that beats every racer in it is the Turbo Interceptor. From what I know there's only one actual vehicle, the rest were props.

YOU do realize were talking about a MOVIE here NOT real life.
As I recall and I may be wrong but I dont think it was really all that fast.

Well since someone brought up that awful awful awful movie, did anyone notice that the yellow 79-81 T/A's blower never did anything? The air intakes never opened. It was fake...and stupid looking...man-o-man that movie was bad
