91' Z28 305 vs 91' Z24 cavaliar

who would win...... i recently bought a 91' Z28 305, it has an all 'bord out engine', Z06 corvette x-aust w/ Z06 headers, and a rolling cam w/ an intake. he has a 91' Z24 cavaliar w/ a V6 3.1 I believe, and we both have automatic tranny, he has never lost a race yet, and it has beat some really quick cars like a GRS with a B16 engine, and a little 91' hatch civic that is so damn light and it has a venom computer chip w/ intake and a hedman header, and a pulley. so by the looks of it will i win? the cav. is stock too, my friends say i should win even w/ out the mods? so how about u guys tell me

It sounds like you should take him. But I would never admet to a ***** beating a nice v8. Most likely though one day i will under estimate one of those cars with a fart pipe and get beat.

Z06 headers?

BTW I think you've got this one, but you never know. There used to be a 3.1 Z around here that was real quick and could hang with most all of the mustangs. No NOS either.

Are you kidding me, you should kill him. You say you have an all bored out engine. Why is that, did you get a rebuild, now you know that engine can't be rebuilt, once you go past .060 you can't rebuild it.

your kidding right?

I've owned 2 cars with the *60 V6 (2.8, 3.1, 3.4) and yes they are nice for a 6. it has about 145 hp and 180 tq. you have about 210 hp and 300 tq. cmon, unless you are deaf, dumb and blind, your torque will tear him a new @$$hole.

The 2.8/3.1 cars aren't that quick c'mon the run 17.0 and up 1/4 mile. Even my 1996 Beretta Z-26 with the Gen II 3100 ran a best of 16.5. And it's rated at 160hp not the old 3.1's 140hp

why worry?
you should take him without any thought

they are rated at what 0-60 in around 7.9 or something and a 1/4 at low 16?

you should easily take him there
