My modded 91 Formula vs modded 95 5.0
See sig for my specs. I haven't ran it at the strip yet or tuned the secondary jets, but they're close I assume. I have the T56. My buddy has a 95 5.0 with the trick flow head / intake package and a comp cam. I don't know the specs but it sounds good. He has a stock 5 speed and rear. How do you think I'll do? I won't run mine at the strip until I get the 9" with a good tire on the car.

Honestly I have sat by a supercharged SN95 Mustang in a bolt on LT1 car from 40+ MPH and killed him below that. They are nothing special with superchargers and I doubt they are anything special with a generic heads/cam package.

My wifes 95GT has a Procharger on a stock motor with ECM mods and put out 415RWHP on the chassis dyno during tuning.

At what boost? Been to many dyno sessions with older fox cars, and on pump they are usually a 350-375 whp with a street able pump gas tune. Stock block boosted 5.0 at nearly 500fwhp sounds like a split block recipe.....real fun till it happens tho

8psi boost, 87 octane, and streetable tune. She drives it everyday to work and enjoys rubbing it in that her car will outrun mine.
I have seen some wild power made with stock 5.0 long blocks. Ford did right when they designed the 5.0. I am not a Ford fan but my wife loves mustangs. Didn't know that before I proposed

And hey, she may be a ford fan, which I do agree calls for medication, at least she digs cars.....mine hates em lol. "An appliance to get to and from work".....unless its a 70 chevelle.....she has a thing for them. Unfortunately my poor white trash status makes that unobtainable lol.

It's funny cause most SN95 owners with pro chargers running 10 psi with an aftermarket intake, CAI, headers, exhaust/no cats and roller rockers don't see more than 350 whp... then again, maybe the reason the roads are paved is for your wife's mustang!

I'll take a pic of the dyno sheet and post it tonight for what its worth. Hard to prove anything online...lol
Also if you guys are ever in the Myrtle Beach area drop me a line and I'd be glad to take you for a ride. Then you can help me tune my IROC while you are here.
All I know is it is fast and has made a lot of the new Mustang GT 5.0 motors look silly...not even a race.
