lincoln ls

A friend of mine just got a 2000 lincoln ls. No all i hear is how qwik they are from him. I know he'll walk all over my 86. But my 91? his real proof of power (to him) is how well he can light up his tires. just to hush him a bit, i pointed out his tires are only 215's. Now i have 255's on the 91, and i can light em up just as easily. we are thinkin of goin to the track this spring just to see. as far as i know his is all stock, but his bro is a mustang genious that wants him to mod it. my 91 has the mods listed below, plus it has a dying posi. plans by springtime for me are just a new posi and a chip from Fastchips. what are the #'s on his car and what are my odds.

Is that lincoln the V8 or the V6? I think you'll win either way but you never know. I raced a lincoln ls in a 99 caddy deville, from 70 to 112(govenor) and beat him.

You'll embarass him. My dad has a 01' Lincoln LS v8 with the sport shift and he always was arguing that his car would smoke mine(he's a die hard ford man). Then one night I had a run in with one and absolutely embarassed the guy. And i had the car at 3/4 throttle at some points. Even my 91 Lincoln LSC hangs with those cars, they're not as quick as they're being made out to be they're a solid mid 15 second car with a good driver.

Solid mid 15s could take a *****, but I don't see you losing. Family cars aren't race cars, especially stock ones.

I test drove an LS before. Good pull in the upper rpm's, but nothing down low, and they are bigger, heavier cars than ours. I think you should beat him pretty easily.
