Alright, guys, me and my not so car savvy buds got to arguing about supras. so heres the deal: how would a supra match up with a C5 vette? if you consider mods, then consider both cars with the same budget spent on mods. thanks guys, and if i was the one who was wrong, ill never tell them.

 

Stock C5 vs stock Supra, the C5 would win without a problem but with mods I think the Supra would win because it costs almost nothing to turn up the boost. With a boost controller or just by messing with the wastegate you can make a lot more power.

 

I agree stock, the C5 would win to like 115 mph. After the turbo woul be so spooled in the supra it would start to pull. Mod wise I have to agree..you can't mess with turbo for easy to grab power.

the turbo should be spooled up to full boost WAY before that

the turbos should be at full boost by about 3000-4000 rpms I am guessing

stok vs. stock I would prolly give the vette the win.
supra i sabout 13/8 and I think the vette is just tad quicker

though mod for mod if you have the same budget my money would be on the supra

If we are talking about a stock c5 coupe or convertable, Id say the C5 would win stock...the supra would win with minimal mods. If we were talking about a Z06, then have to aruge differently. Ive seen BONE stock '02 z06's run 12.3's, with a few mods 11's are easy.
