Trans Am vs my rice

The Cars

Trans Am: Super ram, ZZ4(9?) cam, headers. They were having some problems matching cylinder heads to get the right combo with this package. - Correct me if I'm wrong.

My Rice: BPU ~10 pounds, fuel cutting though

The Setting:

After my buddy smashed the crap outa the fastest supra in S. AZ (supra putting 650 to the wheels), we were posted up at one of the old time meet spots. He was giving rides to honda boys and crap so they see what a real car was like. Haha funny stuff exhibitioning his 9 second GN with rice boys lining up to get rides in the back. We were all in a good mood having shut down another MKIV jacka$s. This is when me an the TA meet up.

The Race:

For the races we would give each other the go (him launch first or me launch first) instead of honking to attract attention to our secret location.

First race. Dead dig. Gave him the launch. Instant 2-3 cars. I though it was over when that happened. By second gear I was slowly creaping up. Third gear I passed. By 100 I had somewhere in the neighboor hood of 2-4 cars on him. Couldn't tell for sure. Didn't wanna go over 100 cuz I've got some balda$s tires. Shut it down.

Second race. 40 roll on. Gave him the jump. This is my sweet spot so it was over before 70.

Third race. Dead dig. He gave me the jump. Managed to only put the Ebrake half way down (doh!) during the launch, so it wasn't my best. Neck and neck through 1 and most of second, then I started to pull. Shut down at about 80.

They were some great races. Much better than any of the other crap I get to race. Woulda been cooler without hitting fuel cut about 3 times each run, but what can you do? Hopefully the next time we get to run I'll have fixed the fuel problem and will be running 15 pounds and you'll have found some heads that work for you.

Yup I'd have to admit it we did get some good runs that night.
It's been awhile since I'd had a good clean race, all I ever get to race is RICE CRAP. Everytime we raced when my car shifted into 3rd that's when your turbo started to pull on me and by 100 it was a pretty close race. And that GN was freakin' awsome! I got the prevlige to ride in the back when you guys raced and it was unbelievable. We'll defenatly run again When I get some better heads and you fix the fuel-cut off problem. (if I'm still around, might be moving to Tennessee in 2 weeks ) Your talking about Billys' (?) Supra right? The one that smashed into the wall at the drag strip? Also let me know when, or if the guy with the camera downlaods the video.

No it was travis' supra that they raced. The charcoal brown, wingless one.

I hope your getting some realy nice heads, I'm picking up a T61 this week.

The videos should actualy be up tomorrow. However jerry leaves much to be desired in the video tapin skillz department...

you were in back when I ran that beast? haha! My mad skillz in da twistize allowed me to pull ahead and flash the hazards! Translation: GN completely stopped and was starting to turn around, allowing my flyby.

Well it's too bad that I'm 99% sure that I'm going to Tennessee on the 27th of this month I had planned on getting some AFRs', 3200 Stall converter and 3.73 but it looks like that's not gonna' happen. I'm planning on going out to the place this weekend, so maybe we can run again for fun.

It's was pretty funny when you gave the GN the "***** flyby" because the driver was like, "Oh no he didn't, If he wasen't my friend I'd be pissed"

Sure. Mebbe I'll come through sometime and check out the cars myself. I value my license, so I doubt I'd race.

Sorry, I guess i'm just used to calling my car the rice mobile. Well, thats what it is compaired to all the GN guys I hang out with. I've got a Supra.

This weekend they should actualy be bringing both of their GNs out. Or their GN and their vette. I hope they also bring the vette cuz I wanna smack it down (lord knows i cant touch the GN). I should atleast not be running pig rich by this weekend so I'll have abit more power. That and new rims/tires so I can actualy take it up to decent speed. Gonna see if I can hit 170+.

Might actualy have to throw some race gas in the car. I've only tried it once, but boy o boy did my car love it!

This weekend the guy that was in my car when we raced should have his GN done too (i think i know close to 12 gn guys). Should be around 450-500 at the wheels.

haha you know whats funny? When he was givin folks rides last weekend in the GN it wasnt even half power! They were just running 15 pounds on the 70. haha i cant even imagine that thing on high boost, race gas, and alcy. Thats just so fast it's gay. What gets me though is listening to them talk about it. You would think that they run 13s listening to them. haha

Ive gotta stop hanging around GN guys. All my money goes to trying to keep up with them. Well, i guess it goes with the territory. Damn all their sub 10 ETs! Damn them to hell!

Depends on what one your talking about. In tucson there are two hi powered MKIVs. One is charcoal gray. On is RSP (purplish blue). The RSP one has more horsepwer (800 hp to the wheels) but is slow as crap. The best he has ever run is an 11.5. Weaksauce little ho. He's a punk too. Last weekend he ran a dang 14.x hahah! The charcoal gray one is faster but has less hp (650 to the ground). Best he ran was a 10 sumthing. Cant remeber if it was low or high 10. Im guessing it was high.

We ran the grey faster one and stomped it like a little biatch.

Mine is just BPU. Nothing special until I pick up the T61 (Actualy I like my hood, my hood kicks butt). Then im hopin for 550-600 to the wheels. Would be perfectly happy with 500 though. haha

The guy with the 800HP one is just a Dyno Bitch. He runs all kinds of PSI at the Dyno and then tunes it way down for the street/strip and then he talks crap about everyone We tried to get him to race my friends 11 second El Camino and he wouldn't and then he'd talk crap behind our backs. He is a POSER.

Yep, he realy is that much of a flaming ******. His most recent run he managed to pull a 14.xx haha. I would whup his *** if I raced him in the quarter.

looks like the supraqueers decided to say they won the race on the supraforums. It's gonna be hella funny when we post the video of the supra behind the GN. This just adds to my "all supra owners are lying ***********" theory. Well, all of them aside from me. I think im pretty cool. I figure if I can cruise with anything from Honda's to GTOs and be perfectly happy, I gotta be cool. Right? I don't know though, cuz driving any import makes you inherently gay.

my last car was a third gen if it's any consolation.

Hey, don't beat yourself up too much there. Would you mind either posting pics of your car and/ or the GNs described or sending them to me?
Sounds like you guys have a good thing going there, keep the spot secret, the ones around here got busted, and have all kinds of po-po action. They even have an undercover cop sitting in the lot (meeting spot) in a honda or toyota, not even riced, just very non-descript , unless you know about him.

I'd post a pick if I had one. Well, actualy I've got pics of the engine tear down (for a metal headgasket), but those don't realy show the car. Whenever we finish putting my buddies GN back together we will post some vids of these races we're talking about. Im pretty sure every race we've talked about is on film. haha including me vs the Devil GN. However cuz it goes over a hill you don't get to see my ***** flyby on it.

There are litteraly hundreds of deserted desert roads out here, so keeping a spot secret isn't all that hard. If one gets discovered, it's pretty easy to get a new one.
