Found Lexan T-roof

Was at the local wrecker today and found a 91 TA in the yard. As i was looking in the rear hatch were they tossed abunch of junk into, I noticed one the t-roofs were broken. I could tell by the break that it was a Lexan t-roof. I found the other, and its in good shape. Its a little dirty, but its not cracked or broken. I hid the roof in one of the other cars in the yard. I asked the counter guy what 1 roof would go for and he said $45. If anyone is intrested, let me know and I can go back and pick it up. Shame the other was broken. I compared it to a normal glass t-roof that was in the yard as well, and there was a noticable weight savings.

Palric has the lexan roof panels, and I couldn't believe the difference in weight. There is a wrecking yard in Cambridge (Cambridge Auto Wreckers). They must have atleast a dozen Thirdgen s in rows. There is even one '87 Firebird that was in better shape than half of what I see on the road. And the nice thing, it's a Pick 'N Pull yard. I got a black trim piece for my hatch. I was in a hurry, but I will definitely be going back.

If it is a driver side, I would be glad to purchase it from you. Please let me know.

Thanks

LoL, that's TOO funny that you hide good parts you find in other cars.... I do the exact same thing!

automorph, I will have to go out and double check to be sure what side it is. I'll try and run out there tomorrow morning.

lol

alot of the thirdgens in the yard get picked over quickly, so I hide anything I think is worth something. I usually look at as many GM G-body cars as well. Once and a while you'll find some ok parts on them.
