Kitchener Meet

Just a thought guys, Palric, TriggerGTA and myself feel that, since we have a good number of guys from the Kitchener-Waterloo area, that it is time for us to hold a meet. The date is yet to be determined, however, sometime in the next two weeks would be good. I propose a night-time meet with a cruise down King St. There is a Tim's on Ottawa and Weber that always has cars( yes there will probably be rice there too ) and bikes.
I think that either a Friday or a Saturday night would be good, however, on Sundays there are Cruise nights in and around town with alot of "Sunday Drivers". If anyone is interested or has any suggestions, let us know.

If you make it Saturday, I wouldn't mind joining in. I am an ex-waterloo student...

What would everyone prefer.Friday,Saturday or Sunday night. Slade says Saturday. I am fairly open for any night, I like the idea of a Sunday night and hit a Cruise Night here in town, but I am flexible.
Hey TriggerGTA, since you are in a car club, do you know of any local cruise nights here in town?

My neighbour was telling me that he was at the Tim's on Ottawa tonight with his 2000 Suzuki GSXR and he saw all kinds of cars there. There was a pickup truck that was slammed, a 68ish 'CUDA and more. Lot's of cars and bikes. I think a Friday night would be good, but that is only because I have tenative plans next Saturday night.

Tim's on Ottawa

Hey Kev I did a drive-by at Tim's on Ottawa last night around 8:30 and it was already starting to pick-up. Lotsa import bikes and guys in leather (if you are into that kinda thing - ha, ha) and some low stuff with boom boxes (they'll be deaf by the time they are 30 -- what ? what did you say ? What... ?).

I think they need some V8s and loud exhaust eh ? Just to make things right.

Saturday is ok by me. The Sunday cruise thing sounds like fun too probably bring some of the kids along for the Sunday thing.

adious,
RP.

na they are all old guy and are not into that. KW suckes for cruise in at night. tims at ottawa is the best in town and i think that #2 would be tims a king and victoria. but its 95% rice at both.

what saterday are you talking about? not tonight?(28)

i think that we should have more of a BBQ if its a small group of us

I took a ride to the Tims last night at about 9 p.m. and there was about 20 bikes, a handful of Rice and a few pickup trucks that were done up nice. I think some f-bodies in there would definitely compliment the place.
Skidoo68, if you want to try for a BBQ at your place that would be fine. I can make it next Friday night or the following Friday or Saturday night( 12-13th)
If it doesn't matter to everyone else what day it is I think that the 12th or 13th would give everyone a chance to plan for it. If there is going to be a good number of showing up, then I would suggest the meet to take place at the Tim's and then take it from there. The optimal time frame would be around 8p.m. however I am open to all your suggestions.

Here is the map to Ottawa St. If you are coming from T.O. via the 401 London, take the HWY 8 Kitchener cut-off and follow it all the way into Kitchener. HWY 8 turns into King St. Follow King until you reach Ottawa St and turn right. Tim's is on the right hand side about 500 Ft. Can't miss it, there is a Chev dealership right beside it (Stedelbauer Motors). You will probably hit about 4-5 stop lights before you reach Ottawa St

I think that Saturday night (13th) at about 8 P.M would be good. Any questions , just ask.

Fischer-Hallman? Are you coming from Stratford area? sorry, I don't know where Waterford is. If that's the case, come to my house. I live in the subdivision on the corner of Fischer-Hallman and Ottawa. Take the cut-off to F/H and turn right. Proceed to Ottawa and cross over through the lights. Go to Activa and turn right. Take your next right onto Greyfox and then your first left onto Queen Charlotte Cres. You will see my car halfway around the Cres. Or you can just take a left onto Ottawa and proceed all the way down until you cross King St. Cross King and you will see the Tim's on the left. Let me know what you want to do, so as I will know whether or not to wait .

If you want to meet this Saturday, go for it. I, however, won't be able to be there as I have prior commitments. The plan will still stand for the 13th ( unless no one is interested).
