Well, I'm not an official spokesperson for the show, just forwarding info to my bowtie bro's!

I can tell you that it's clothing optional, so, if you are on the shy side or afraid of too much sun exposure, you can be dressed from head to toe. I can tell you that this place has everything and makes swap meets, beach runs and hooters runs obsolete. And darn it, they're licensed too! Should be a number of pro cars there.

I've do trips to Ottawa on a whim (more like a beckon from a girl I've been seeing) It's not that bad of a drive instead to Four Seasons... besides.. you never look at distance in the same way again after you've done a cross continent trip...

Their plan is to highlight the fifties cars as their theme for this custom car show. Expecting a couple of highly modified Vipers.

But, I don't believe any Rice Boys will be participating. Darn!

I'm not sure about one thing though. It says :
Pricing for the one day event is $5. per car fee for show entrants. For non-entrants, the fees are $35/day which includes use of all facilities.

So, if I submit my car it's $5 and I get in the show for free too? Or do I have to pay $5 to submit my car, and another $35 to get in?

I read on the website, yes we are allowed to enter our cars. It says, any year any model car is allowed! $5 to enter your car. If you enter your car, I believe you do not have to pay admission.

I'll go 100% for sure just as long as somebody drives up with me from Toronto! I'll have to wake up early saturday and get the wax ready!

Yes, you can enter your car. As long as it's not a POS. After all, you don't want to embarass your forum. It actually works out for your advantage, costing you only $5.00. The $35.00 is for full use of the facilities, eg. pools, sauna's, hot tubs, etc. This is a full accomodation resort, not a public beach. The place is all about freedom....getting off my soap box now.

For those that are brave enough to attend, perhaps we can have a Third Gen get together at the Cabanna. (the outdoor bar) How's 1 pm as happy hour?? And wear dark sunglasses for those who like to stare. LOL

It would be fun, but I have plans Saturday. Some more engine mods.... Maybe another time. Hey, Barbie, you will have to bring that 'Vette out to a meet sometime.We will be having another dyno run at Forrest&Forrest in Kitchener at the end of Aug. You should bring it out and see what kind of horsepower your car puts out. It would be interesting to see. We had a great time the last time.

Hee, hee, must be something about Kitchener. I've got the car going into Mitek for show paint in the next couple weeks, then I plan on taking it to Forest and Forest for test and tune. I want it to look pretty, but I'm dying to know what it will do.
