Idea about 120 v plug car adapter
I had a thought today about an earlier post, can't remember who asked but it was about using a home stero or something via a car adapter plug...
anyways I tried out my adapter and plugged in my comp's sub and no prob! It was kinda nice having a sub in my car, but after awhile the mix of speed and base doesn't settle with me I like feeling acceleration and the bass does a number on me. Don't get me wrong, I'm the type that goes to edgefest and raves total opposite ends of music spectrum, but I love it all and bass is great, just deosn't mix with my need for speed.
I'm sure a home appliance won't hurt at all, home appliances aren't designed (with the exception of the stove and dryer) to exceed a 15 amp current draw, so what's a measly 15 amps to an alternator or battery.. nothing really... I just wouldn't build a dvd home theatre setup in the car that's all.. but at least at the next drive in I'll have some decent sound!
