Funny... are we going to have to lock up every freaking thread that easyspeed can't handle? No offense dood.. but its getting rediculous.. I was only kidding around, I wish you'd just relax. I am on your5 side for this one, cause I also leave my manual car in neutral with the parking brake on... I probably would have done the same thing in your situation.

But don't lock a thread up just because hot headed easyspeed can't ignore some posts

 

Nath...I'm not asking to lock up the thread because easy snaps back. No, not at all. In fact, I like the fact that he defends himself. I just wish he toned himself down. Stopped using those lovely words like f this or f that or blow this blow that...you know what mean. I know easy speed and he's a friend of mine. I don't want to see him banned simply because he can't control himself. He has alot of emotion in him. Hell, I don't want to be in the passenger side of his car when he gets mad

Easy, next time you snap back in defense, exclude the profanity. Okay. Johnny has already given you a warning. I don't want you giving him any excuse to ban you. I want you on the board.

As for the topic of this thread here's my 2cents...never touch your car in a shop. From a legal perspective if they screw up their liable. If you had anything to do with it their lawyers will tie this case up in court . I'll explain in person when I see you. Regardless who's really at fault the fact remains you touching the car gives their lawyers plenty to play with. Besides...Speedy has corporate lawyers which don't cost the shop. You on the other will have to dish out huge for one.

Anyways...easy keep it loose just not your lip(fingers) whatever

Man this dumb. It shouldnt be locked but why do people keep posting on this thread? Every opinion has been stated 3 times and it was a stupid thing in the first place. I dunno, I know Im guilty of posting but this just stupid... And the worse part is I feel a need to check out this post when I see something new on it, cause I am curious why people keep posting?! Its now a post that has nothing to do with nothing! Oh well I know I didnt make it any better or anything by posting about how we should stop posting. But really, is there anything of value left to say about this?

Just for note, when I worked in a shop, I always put the car in gear.. don't trust parking brakes... cracked ribs once... long story... also insurance bugs me a lot so no custormers near cars till car done...

For a stick, I always leave in gear, once again don't trust parking brakes and I lived in San Fran where you parallel park at 45 degree inclines....

The difference is I put it in 2nd not first as to promote a stall rather than a jump...

Lastly... close this thread, its pointless now....
