Hi Guys / Gals..

I'm new to the board. I joined a while back to get some info in the History /Restoration section. Then I discovered there's an Ontario group! So the past few weeks in my spare time I've followed a few of the threads posted here. You all sound like a great bunch of folks, with a profound love of 3rd gens and an urge to enjoy your cars on the road. I do too.

About me: I'm Ron, I live in north Toronto and I own an '82 Camaro Pace Car. It's mostly original with 100k, LG4, 3spd, posi, most other options and I'm the 2nd owner. No mods done. I think I'll pick up an IROC or GTA one day for that.

I hope I'll get a chance to meet a few of you before the end of our driving season . Unfortunately I couldn't have made either Dyno Day or Sparta (busy) but it sounds like something I'll check out next time. I think I may have seen some of your Camaros in Niagara Falls in June at the Ontario Camaro Club's show (IROCKER's car sticks in my mind). Anyway, I'm also a long standing member of the OCC. There was no board back then to fraternize with fellow F- body enthusiasts!

Ron...

Welcome aboard Happy to have you! We can always use another 3rd gen. We might have one last meet in oCtober on a Sunday(I hope). Watch the thread. If we do, you need to bring out your pacer. Sounds like she's a real beauty.

Welcome to the board, Pacer. It's funny how so many of us end up here by accident.

Kevin V told me about thirdgen.org when I asked a question about headers on tfbm . It was a few time before I found this gem of a board.
Welcome aboard pacer!

Greetings from Kitchener
Hello Pacer welcome to the board. You know my best friend bought an '82 Indy Pacer brand new decals and all wayyyy back when. I remember the 3sp auto it seemed like it was always winding out ? Well the seats were Recaro which made up for it. He put over 400,000kms on that car before it was finally put to rest. First time I drove his car I knew I had to have a 3rd gen and have been playin with them ever since. Hooked.

I think we have one more race day coming in October so hope to see you there !

RP.

If Richard has to do his brakes, will Kev have to fix another hose?

Food for thought...

What will Alex (EasySpeed) have to fix next?

AcceldZ will finally part out his car? (And sell me those lovely headers...)

Daz will get some kind of obscure ticket? (how's disturbing the peace or noise violation on the 401?)

Irocker gets headers, new gears, rockers, cam, super ram, heads, and eventually a new engine and still has starting problems lol... he'll also be living out of a trailer but he'll have a 12 sec car lol

James and I plan for a big turkey banquet or something like that for track day...

Kevin V gets a matching bumper?

Brad runs 13's and smokes most of us, gets beat up by the 305 guys for abandoning them and running to a 350 then claiming it was a 305 that ran those times...

Trigger finally beats Jay??? (I'm picturing Jay laying the smack down on Trigger hehe)

Finally welcome to the board! You'll find we're all a bunch of weird guys.. (Tracey excluded she just has a big wrench in the pocket)
Nathan shows up? (sure blame the rain...)

Slade,

i swear it was just a carb rebuild. heheheh. i had wanted a 350 since i got the car, back in Nov 2000. just took me this long to gather enough cash, knowledge and to find the right motor for the right price.
