I need some ideas...

The torque arm is not holding up after the fix, it's starting to "really" vibrate the whole car. Any ideas on an alternate spot to mount the torque arm? Maybe to the floor or the tranny crossmember or something.

Don't they sell torque arms that mount to the tranny crossmember or something like that?

Supposedly. I'd love to fix the original before having to spend that kind of cash. But I don't think one bolt in an aluminum tranny is gonna hold it anymore.

I would definately give global west a call. They have several expensive torque arms but they are like 750 usd or something. But they are kings of suspension stuff on 3rd gens... Just buy some poly bushings or something so its not a waste of their time

I believe you are pushin some serious ponies, you should invest in some parts that are gonna help you get that power to the ground, or at least prevent a catastrophic drivetrain failure

You should be able to make up a bracket to mount it directly to the crossmember.

Most of the aftermarket ones do mount to the aftermarket crossmembers that they sell.

I'd get another torque arm to axe up, use a heim joint (spherical rod end) instead of a bushing and attach it to the trans cross member on your own homemade bracket.

I think that would solve your problems. Check out the Steve Spohn page for some more ideas, I think they have a sponsor banner on here somewhere.

I'd also second the T56!!

Whos this Eddie Como guy? Fill me in people... If you can hook me up with a t5 for a decent price I would definately go for that. Preferable WC though...
And dave bud youve been watching to much sopranos (not thats really a bad thing). But if this guy ripped someone off I got a set of fullsize boltcutters, a mean cordless drill with bits, and enough bricks to shatter the cn towers glass floor...
