are any of you in here close to grand bend or have you ever been to the track there?

 

I'm just under an hour away... we had a meet there on the 28th of September. It's an excellent facility.

i live about 40 minutes away. it is an great track. what else did you need to know?

 

i'm planning on heading there this saturday for the import vs. domestic sponsored by motown muscle which is a rather large car club over here in michigan.

i was just curious what the track is like since i've never been there and was wondering if there were any thirdgens from across the border that were planning on going.

should be a great time and i would like a chance to meet some of you.....

hmmm i have to work......damnit......but i would love to hand some imports their doors. the track is really nice in my opinion. the best track i have been too (the other one seems like a dirt path compared to grand bend). they do a good job of prepping the track (there are 40 gallon drums of VHT track bite right beside the track). i ran 4 tenths faster at grand bend than the track i was running at before (sparta, south of london, ontario).

you have an amazing car there, i wish i could make it out to see it. how many domestics are coming from michigan?

 

don't know the numbers for sure; but you have a mixed generation of muscle cars from motown muscle and a few other clubs like corvettes and the like along with a few of the major import clubs that run around detroit.

hoping for a big turn out, but i'm not organizing so i don't know the numbers. you can check out some of the action at www.motownmuscle.com in the forums to find out more.

too bad you can't make it as i would like to meet some more thirdgen people. i only have a handful of thirdgen's coming with me while the rest will be 4thgens, mustangs, or something else.

should be alot of f-bodys though with a fare share of mustangs and imports to play with! just hope the weather will be decent.
