my friend has a 1990 ford tempo, the damn thing won't start...getting fuel just no spark.....changed the ignition coil and the stater silinoid and still a no go......it turns over just no catching.....anyone have suggestions??.....thanks in advance

 

Perhaps have the alternator and battery checked? Just guessing here. You can have both those checked at Crappy Tire for free, but they have to out of the car.

 

Fords are famous for ignition module failure. Might want to try that

 

Tell him to sell it!!!! Those cars can be deadly, 1990 and earlier. We have had lots of trouble at our shop with those hunks of Sh%t! Tell him to buy something better.

 

lol....actually its his winter beater..he's got an 86 t/a....ended up being ignition mod. in the distributor cap....
