So who's headed to Seattle and wouldn't mind picking something up for me?
Screw the GTA, that would fix the problems I've been having with my Jimmy quite nicely.

Hey Acceld,
You could be correct, but I'm going to doubt that youd need one....there's a car on the camaro legends tour with an LT5 and ZF6 spd in it, VERY nicely installed(shouldbe since it was done by Chevy lol).....I saw it in person at the camaro nationals a couple of years ago and it was tight, but didnt appear to be cut at all....

The LT5 was the same engine unmodified from 90' thorugh till 95'. In 95 it was rated at 405hp, but many dyno's haven proven they put that power to the wheels completely stock.

That LT5 thirdgen has had it's crossmember removed and replaced and has had the sides of the strut towers shaved off. The GM raceshop also moved a portion of the firewall back. The LT5 is very wide and the block and oil pan where designed to allow it to sit low in the chassis. It wouldn't be an easy install but the results would be well worth it.

An LS1 would probably drop in alot easier than the LT5, and offer clost to the same performace, for alot less.
But the LT5 does have the cool factor department wrapped up.
