oh boy that felt good

Well after about an hour I got my car down from the jackstands.

The trick is, you need 2 jacks... hehe luckily I went to canadian tire today and bought another el cheapo $30 jack that i'll return later today...

i would explain why i needed 2 jacks but u wouldn't understand lol. let's just say what kept happening is i'd jack up the car, take out the jackstand from the front, then lower the jack and the jack wouldn't come out because the car sits lower than its height.

but in either case, i fired her up and drove her around the underground garage for 20 minutes.. dam it felt good!!!!

I was expecting a "I just got out of the hospital" kind of post...

or how how about a "ow that really hurt..."

or how about "lose 3500 lbs off your thighs, ask me how inside!"

or the classic.. "sign my cast!!!, story and details inside!"

Well with those cheap little jacks he bought we may still get a post like those mentioned. Alex becarefull with those peices of SH$T you bought. They can be very dangerous. Mind you, you should always use jack stands too when working under any car. Ever watched Faces of Death, where the guy in wrecking yard almost chopped his leg right off. That is why you should have a good jack and jackstands. For the sake of your legs and arms.

When I swapped out the tranny we put a old set of rims on their side jacked up the car and put the rims under the tires. Kind of ******* but it worked and was safer than jackstands.

Paul...

That's how I had my car not too long ago. Works like a charm!

I found it a bit cramped when I wanted to go under the car, but it helped for everything

eg. working on engine, brakes, body work etc...

they were wide rims so it worked perfctely and the tires sat perfectly inside the rim so no movement at all
