Just a thought on US Mailbox...

I would love to have a drop box in the US. say Niagara boarder for all the crap I buy off of ebay all the time. So I could down and pick it up and save some fee's anyone else ever thought about this..?? would we save money? I think so... Maybe we can one set up in someone's name close to the boarder and split the fees that come with having a drop box?

what do you guys think..

I've got a friend in Lockport, NY that I ship stuff too. Otherwise I would be all over that idea.

I have never had much of a problem brining my stuff back....half the time when you tell them that you were down to pickup some car parts they just let you thru without asking you to pull over to pay the duty/tax, alteast thats what my experience has been like.

Ususally whenever I have gone down on a parts run to Summit in Ohio I ususally go over at Niagara Falls. I don't have a drop box or anything like that, a buddy and I ususally do a "parts run" every six months or so.

I have never had a problem with anything at the border at all (when doing one of my parts runs).....I think mostly because I am very honest and willing to pay the taxes/duities which need to be paid......Like I believe I already mentioned the customs officers have actually said to just go ahead without paying what was due a couple of times....I think they are concerned more about other stuff, rather than giving a couple of guys doing a parts run, who are willing to declare all goods purchased a hard time.

No problem...but man when/if you guys do decide to head down to summit, DO NOT stay in Akron, I cannot stress that enough.

Make the short trip to Cleveland and stay there for the evening and party it up down in the Flats or the Warehouse district. Myself and my buddy Trevis made the mistake of staying in Akron the 1st time we went down there and we were seriously disapointed with "festivities" after we picked up our parts.

Cleveland is a decent place to party in and you can get some cheep hotels right downtown, down the road when/if you guys do decide to go let me know and I can advise you as to some of the better places to stay in if you need some guidance.
