My Camaro is now....
Definately slower than my family cruiser. I just put a new Pulley on the supercharger. I changed out the factory 3.8" for a 3.4" pulley. I believe this bumps the psi from 7 to 10. I have heard it adds up to 20 hp( some claime more) so the car should be in the 260hp range. The car feels stronger but traction in this weather is always an issue, plus I have winter tires on. Not a bad deal at all, 20 hp for a total investment of 200 bux, which includes the pulley plus installation plus a new gatorback belt. I wish I could get 20 hp out of the camaro for that much...

Tananger 11, the family cruiser is a 1996 Olds LSS with the series II supercharged 3.8. Jer, if I flip out and loose my mind you'll be the first guy that I think of to "give the roc "to

KWF, its the wife's car and she frown's on the idea of me putting it on the track, but what she don't know won't hurt her. The GTP guys I know want me to take for a few runs as well. I would love to line up against your camaro. I have no idea what this thing will run. My buddy has a 95 Z28 Convertible, we had a spirited acceleration run on a back road a few months ago and he said he had trouble catching me. Mind you his camaro has over 200 000kms and he thinks the tranny is going south, I think a healthy LT1 wouldn't have too much trouble with my car. I'm interested to see what will happen now that the new pulley is on. I'll have to wait until spring. Being somewhat of a Luxo yacht for the elderly, I believe the LSS is geared differently than a GTP or a Regal so I don't think the !/4 mile numbers for my car are the same. I also believe my car weighs more. What does your car run in the 1/4?What does an RS weigh?Lets just say that I will make no predictions, I have no track experience so that will also be a factor. I can't wait until spring though

Well, let's say that i'd lose to you today, but next season may be a different story
My car ran a best of 15.8 and weighs probably around 3600-3700lbs with me in it. Your gearing will be better than mine is now, but that's part of what i'm changing this off season
It would be cool to see the car run. Ain't it great to add 20+ hp with a cheap pulley?
I would expect your car to run 14.7- 15.3, somewhere in there depending on weather, tires etc... that's based on GTP guys I know. Again, like you said your car is set up a bit differently than them... but i would expect the results to be in the same ballpark.
Enjoy the new power! I wish I could do that, but supercharging my car would cost me $3000+ US
