best way I know of to clean aluminum with that texture, and keep it, is to have them blasted with glass bead, NOT SAND! any shop around with a blast cabinet should be able to help you out, just make sure they clean ALL the sand out of the machine. cover any spots you dont want to get blasted with duct tape, it will stand up to the blasting, as long as it isnt directed right at it.

no prob. Good idea about the pic......but hte question is who will be in front??? lol
Watch the greasy fingers once you blast those covers....get your hands on some VHT clear if you can, it does't yellow like other clears do....
I did the exact same thing to my Stealth right after I pulled it out of the box...since it was blotchy in as cast form.....it hasnt yellowed yet....and trust me, it's been nice and hot!!!
