hey guys i am sure u all no i am tryin to get a motor swap done on my firebird, but i have the worst luck on this. and i need your guys thoughs on it because i have no clue what to do from here. anyway the place i was gunna do the swap is renting out its extra spaces now so there goes that.
i live in a building with a out side spot so i dont think i can do this swap outside my building, so here is the thing i have called around and i got 700$ flat canadian to swap my whole motor in and hook it all up.(sine i have everypart and motor still all hooked up i get it a bit cheaper, and i am staying carb) this is a bit of $ for a student though, and would take me some time to get. i was thinking i could call around and see if a shop will just drop it in and hook up the pipes and i do all the rest my self out side my building (is it possible??), should be less. and my friends dad want me to move my motor soon, does anyone have any ideas>??? anything at all>? if someone has the space and lives not to to far i will pay u to help me do this swap, and i could get some help off other people. any ideas @ all would be great, i am running out of time. thanks for reading this.

ya i spoke with him he offered to help me when i had the space and all that lined up, but i dont have that anymore.

There a a few "rent a space" garages in the Toronto area- you might want to look at getting a copy of the "Buy and Sell" to see who's got ads for such.

The bonus is- most of these place also have hoists/jacks/etc. on hand for you to use.

 

As I told you buy the 85 t/a that already has a V8 in it for that much.
