help!
so I am getting ready to put the rest of my engine together tomorro
and was wondering how to tell what side the heads go on (like is one head suspose to go on the drivers side or the pasanger side) or dose it even matter. there are the numbers that I found on the cylinder heads.
cylinder head #1 all numbers found under valve cover area.
GM 7
K
B-25 6
333882
on one end of the head there is only 1 accessory bolt hole and on the other there 3 accessory bolt holes.
cylinder head #2 all numbers found under valve cover area.
GM 5
K
B-24 6
333882
and on one end of the head there is only 1 accessory bolt hole and on the other end the are 3 accessory bolt holes.
so if anyone can help me out with this I would appreciate it.

Hey Andrew..Like Daz said try to have the 3 holes at the fornt, but if you have to chose which you shouldn't put the 3 holes on the side where your alternator will go. What exactly are you builing Andy?? are the 882 stock??

Is it really a engine?? I always thought it was a motor..
j/K. When choosing your cam you have alot to consider. Stall, gears, the heads, etc. depending on lift, you may need new valve springs, screw in studs, etc...

But seriously, I think the "350hp cam" refers to a copy of the '70 LT1 cam.
