Nice 4th gen.....after today at the track I am thinking its time to flip the 3rd and go for a 4th.....well maybe not

 

Right on the money. The kit was originally a fwd New Beetle. I added a second tranny and motor, widened it a bit with parts from other kits, and kept the VW rims. It's still a little narrow but hell, I think the VW rims look pretty good on the T/A.

 

What do those dealies on the hood do...?

 

Those are pegs that hold the body on the chasis

 

Yep, those are the body mount posts. Two in the front, two in the back.

Don't mind the dark spot on the hood, that's where the front gearcase has been rubbing against the paint.
