I went up to Sparta for the Toronto fbody meet today.
A group of 6 of us from down south (Windsor) came up.
Went out in the first round but had had some very good times today. Worst being 14.04 @ 97 mph. Best being 13.81 @ 99 mph. Had a lot of runs in the 13.80's (13.85 twice, 13.87 twice).

Not bad for stock heads, stock cam, stock 3.27 gears, stock convertor.
I can't say enough about the M/T ET Streets though. 60 ft's ranged only from 1.97-2.04. Very consistent. Everyone with an L98 needs these.

There's nothing like being ahead of those LS1 cars at the 1/8 mile. There is something to be said about having them go by you like your standing still about 3/4 track though.

I was there, what colour was your car?

I ran a best that day of 13.7 at 102mph there, against a m8 with his LS1 WS6 to his best of a 13.5 at 106mph Ya I had him till the end even with spinning into 3rd

My worst was a 15.3 at 103mph I got burned comming in and sat in the puddle for like 5mins then didnt get allowed to do a burn out for *** only knows what reason.


I was the Blue 92 there parked with m8's in a blue 87 Formula and black with flames 75 Formula and a m8's red 90 Iroc. Plus the 2 riced Accords were with us too.

I really need to invest into a set of drag radials or slicks.

 

I was running the white IROC (I think the only one white one there). I think I saw yours too. I try and make a point of checking out the other 3rd gens.

Definetaly get some slicks. I'm running ET Streets now and even at Sparta I can launch WOT no problems.

Won't be able to make the event next weekend at TMP. I have to work Sat.
