Personaly, I am well into the 13's, hoping on 12's for this year but it looks like traction will still be keeping my out of them. To cheap to buy slicks. My bigger goal is to break the 500 FWTQ mark. So close last year at 470FWTQ.

 

Ya, It will probably be a SOB to hook my car up!! As long as I know the potential is there though, I will be OK with it.

 

Heheh, trust me, you're not gonna be able to hook on street tires. My average 60' time was probably about a 2.3 and my car was all jacked up. Your car will probably run pretty well with the Formato chip. What kind of torque converter do you have?

 

The converter is an 11" TCI with a 2500 stall. It is actually not too bad, but I will be upgrading in the future!! I just have to see if I can find a T56 first, cause I have had that in mind for a while now. I have relocation brackets in the rear, as well as LCA's and I am getting the Spohn adj. T-arm.

Correction, Louich just ran a 9.9 @ 133mph yesterday with the 412 and a 100 shot. 10.7 without the shot.

Hey Trigger, he asked fastest local, he didnt specify thirdgen or even F-Body. Ya I know its implied though

Its a 75 I think and acording to John all it needs is mufflers to be street legal.
Its a 2 speed power glide with 4:10 rear gears and a stock 10 bolt rear with of course Slicks.

The thing is if thats what the 412 does in the 75, whats the 600 going to do in the 86? I cant wait to see that run, but I think it's gunna take him awile to get that beast on the road.

ohhhh steet legal, i can stuff my mufflers on , throw the wiper stuff back on and a defrost fan in about 40 mins, its legal again....but then that wouldn't be much fun

ahhhem, i am the fastest local! Apparently you guys forgot about the very rare "LG4" engine option which was offered in '85.

 

Actually since my LG4 is a roller block I'm gonna be a bit quicker, but we're still in a league of our own!

Are you sure your LG4 is a roller block? My 1987 Trans Am has the LG4 and, Trigger GTA can vouch on this, it isn't a roller block even though it has the centerbolt heads...
