We jsut got our new GM performance catalog in here at the dealership. GM has really upped their line of performance products. Lots of great accesories, short blocks etc. etc. I am quite impressed to say the least!

The GMPP stuff is really cool but the prices are way out of line on the majority of the product. All the dealers here sell the GMPP stuff at full retail.

Yeah some stuff and places are a bit greedy I will admitt. the dealership I work at is pretty good, mind you I get cost +10%...But most good customers get garage prices which is a considerable savings.

I get cost +10% at the local GM dealer but only on normal parts and AC Delco stuff. They said they aren't really allowed to drop the prices on the GMPP stuff.

That would be an understatement, heheh. I'm pretty chummy with the parts manager. I only get the discount when he's working otherwise I get gouged, lol. I used to think that GM's parts costs where crazy........then I bought a Dodge.

My pops works for Surgenor Pontiac Buick in Ottawa, so I get dealer cost on anything, including performance parts. Still a rip off no matter what discount you get though!!
