I'm gonna get my transmission rebuilt (4L60E), was wondering if anyone has dealt with, or heard of API big brute racing automatics, in mississauga.
This guy claims to bulid transmissions for up to 2500 hp applications! Is this possible? he SEEMS to know what he's talking about.

I dont know personally but know of a guy who has had a bunch of tranny's built by them....he always spoke very highly of them.

I've had 2 trans rebuilt by Vic at API.
A 4L80E and a 700R4 along with both converters.
They do good work, and from my experiences stand behind their work.
The 700R4 is in my car and takes a beatin all the time, it also has a 12" 2600 stall from them.
I did have a pin holding one of the 2nd gear clutches break, however Vic promptly tore it down and fixed it....the clutches were lookin weak so he replaced them also, but the price was negligable.
Just tell him what your lookin to do with it and he'll set ya up with something good.
Oh by the way.....my trans was setup to shift hard......and you can barely not make the tires chirp into second, so remember this when your telling him what you want. Its the best thing if you only drive it hard, but in town its farily enoying.
